Mincho's Lodge opened it’s doors in October 2000 - the idea was a new fly fishing lodge located on the beautiful banks of the Rio Simpson very near Coyhaique city in the unforgetable Chilean Patagonia. The warm establishment has just 10 rooms all with private bathrooms and wi-fi. Each room offers a great view to the wonderful valley the Rio Simpson and Los Andes Mountain range. Although not as opulent as a casino or city hotel, Mincho's Lodge is still very comfortable and offers unmatchable hospitality and spectactular local scenery. One of the nicest room of the Minchos Lodge is the dining room with its "Quincho"(a typical barbecue) where you will be able to enjoy plates of the region cooked in a firewood oven with local products, prepared by an expert Chilean chef and accompanied with Chilean wines. Fifteen years ago the owners Mincho and Victoria moved to the beautiful Coyhaique area. Mincho was a Chilean golf champion with a taste for good food and music, Victoria a geologist looking for gold in the Patagonia, Mincho’s lodge shares their knowledge and lifestyle to thmany beautiful natural resources of the region. In the Chilean Patagonia, surrounded by glaciers and volcanoes, you will be captivated by lakes of intense colors and rivers seeking the Pacific Ocean through a chasm of mountain ranges. In them wild trout are plentiful making this a perfect place to practice fly fishing accompanied by expert bilingual guides. Coyhaique city is surrounded by parks and natural reservations which allows you to feel nature and to observe the imposing flora and fauna. Here you will see condors, black neck swans, flamingos, heumules, pumas and serveral other species of the area. They live in lengas, antarthic nothofagus, cypres, canelo and myrtle wood. In this natural environment you can go hiking, horseback riding, practice photography, fishing, agroturism, rafting, mountain biking, and of course resting and enjoying Mincho’s Lodge Para mayor información contactar:
